Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Idaho Pro Gear storefront, quote and contact forms, booking flows, embedded payment form, hosted litecheckout checkout, customer order and return tools, marketing signups, review forms, and registered Idaho Pro Gear QR links.

Idaho Pro Gear, LLC is responsible for the customer information described here. Our contact details appear in Section 10.

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, and organization.
• Event and rental details such as dates, times, Venue, delivery address, guest count, selected Equipment or services, operator information, notes, and support messages.
• Order, agreement, invoice, payment-status, refund, deposit, return, and customer-service records.
• Account or guest order-lookup information, including the email used to verify access to an order.
• Newsletter, back-in-stock, review, and contact-form submissions. Approved reviews may publicly display the name and review content you submit, but not your email address.
• Cart and event-window details. If a cart is left before checkout, we may store a random browser identifier and recovery token and may associate an email address if you provide one.
• Technical records such as IP address, browser or device information, requested page, timestamps, security signals, and error or request logs. A registered QR-link visit may also record the QR placement and limited request metadata for aggregate performance reporting.

Payment-card details are entered directly into Stripe's payment interface. Idaho Pro Gear receives payment status and limited billing details, not your full card number.

• Respond to questions and prepare quotes.
• Check availability and create, approve, fulfill, and support bookings.
• Process payments, deposits, refunds, returns, and rental agreements.
• Deliver, install, retrieve, maintain, and protect rented Equipment.
• Send service messages, booking updates, receipts, and requested alerts.
• Send marketing email only when you subscribe, and honor unsubscribe requests.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, unsafe use, and security incidents.
• Maintain records, enforce agreements, comply with law, and resolve disputes.
• Understand site reliability and improve our catalog, booking flow, and customer service.

The storefront uses browser storage to remember your cart, selected event window, abandoned-cart recovery identifier, temporary checkout session, booking hold or group state, and guest order-lookup email. Local storage may remain after the browser closes; session storage is normally cleared when the tab or browser session ends. You can clear either through your browser settings, although doing so may remove a saved cart or interrupt checkout.

Stripe and Link may use cookies or similar technologies for payment, fraud prevention, and remembered checkout features when their payment interface loads. Hosted litecheckout has a separate cookies and browser-storage notice.

The storefront does not currently use advertising pixels for cross-site remarketing. Registered QR redirects may use Vercel Analytics for aggregate visit counts without setting an Idaho Pro Gear advertising cookie.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share it with:

• litecommerce and litecheckout, which provide catalog, booking, checkout, order, communication, and customer-service infrastructure.
• Stripe and Link for payment processing, fraud prevention, deposits, refunds, and payment support.
• Vercel and other hosting, logging, security, and site-performance providers needed to operate the storefront.
• Email and communication providers used to send confirmations, requested alerts, and subscribed marketing messages.
• Contractors or event professionals who need limited booking details to deliver an authorized rental or service.
• Government authorities, courts, insurers, or advisers when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and property.
• A successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the business, subject to appropriate handling of the information.

Service providers may use information only to perform their services for us or as otherwise permitted by their own notices and applicable law.

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. Retention varies by record: temporary browser sessions are shorter; support and abandoned-cart records are kept while useful for service and recovery; and booking, agreement, payment, tax, damage, refund, and dispute records may be kept longer to meet legal and business obligations.

You may ask us to delete eligible information. We may retain records that the law requires, that are needed to complete a transaction, or that are necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you believe your order access, payment session, or personal information has been compromised.

You may contact us to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate contact, event, or account information.
• Request deletion of eligible information.
• Unsubscribe from marketing email through the message link or by contacting us.
• Withdraw a newsletter or back-in-stock request.
• Ask a question or raise a concern about our privacy practices.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. These choices do not override records we must keep or prevent service messages about an active booking.

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through this storefront. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us.

We may update this policy when our storefront, providers, or practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate customer-facing notice when required.
